ELEMENTARY (K – 5th)

Every Sunday at 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM in the Cafeteria

Our time in the Kidz Crossing Elementary is full of high energy and fun activities that support kids and their families for healthy growth! Our team of large and small group leaders empower kids with innovative messages and engaging interactivity. The compelling application-based lessons, built on biblical truth, will impact your kids positively. We use drama, video and regular small group gatherings to bring variety and meet your kids where they are through dynamic learning about God's virtues and how to use them to make a positive difference in the world. Each week they'll learn how to apply the lesson through, games, crafts, and small group time.

We teach the 252 Basics Three Basic Truths to help your child with Wisdom, Faith and Friendship:

   1. I need to make the wise choice (Wisdom)

   2. I can trust God no matter what (Faith)

   3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated (Friendship)

These truths are taught through weekly lessons that have three components, each targeted to a particular type of learning and relational environment:

PLUG IN: Focus the Energy (Small groups, 10-15 minutes) - Plug In is designed to introduce children to the day’s topic in a setting that gives them individualized attention from their Small Group Leader and plenty of interaction with a small group of peers.

POWER UP: Engage the Heart (Large group, 20-25 minutes) - Power Up is designed to engage children in worship in a large group setting. Music, prayer, and an innovative approach to the Bible story are always a part of this interactive time.

CATCH ON : Make the Connection (Small groups, 25-30 minutes) - Catch On is designed to help kids understand how the day’s topic applies to them. They’ll discuss real-life experiences, interact with a close-knit group of peers, and participate in a variety of activities that appeal to different learning styles. Life-application and memory-verse activities, as well as prayer, are always a part of this hands-on time.

WEEKLY RESOURCES (downloads available):

GodTime Cards - devotional activities relative to the weekly lesson. There are 4 different devotions on each GodTime card. Each devotion is designed to be done on a different day:

   1 – verse(s) to read

2 – a devotion paragraph that teaches something about God and explanation of today’s verse(s)

3 – an activity that makes real-life application of the day’s devotion

   4 – a suggested prayer

Parent Cue Cards - weekly handout that lines up with the 252 Basics lessons the kids are already learning at church, allowing you as parents to continue the conversation during ‘Drive Time’, ‘Hang Time’, ‘Meal Time’, and ‘Parent Time’ throughout the week.
